Cerritos Volleyball (2011): Played in 68 games and finished with 51 kills, a team-high 73 blocks, eight digs, two assists and one service ace… Recorded a season-high nine kills against Long Beach City College and had seven kills and season-high three blocks against San Bernardino Valley College… Also had eight kills against El Camino College, as well as seven kills and a season-high five digs against Santa Ana College… Registered seven kills against Glendale College, while posting six kills in five other matches and three blocks against Grossmont College and Riverside College…..

Cerritos HS: Played on the SoCal Dream Basketball club team… Her volleyball team advanced to the finals of the State Regional Playoffs after reaching the championship game of the CIF Championships… They also won the Suburban League title her senior year, while she was named their Most Valuable Player as a junior… Earned the Defensive Blockers Award as a senior… Was a Scholar-Athlete as a freshman and was named the Most Valuable Player and Co-Captain on the basketball team… Spent two years on the volleyball team and three on the basketball team…..
Personal: Most memorable moment was when she recorded 10 solo blocks against La Mirada High as a junior and when the team advanced past the 2^nd Round of the CIF Playoffs… Comes from a family where everyone plays sports, including her cousin Tyrone Taylor, who played on the Falcon football team… Likes to go shopping in her spare time… Nicknamed “JJ”… Has four siblings – Carrie (28), Xavier (14), Stevie (14) and Curtis (11)… Is the daughter of Curtis and Yvette Garrett… Born in Los Angeles, CA on April 19, 1993….
